As mayor of Primghar I would like to welcome you to our web
site. Feel free to browse through our community and see what
we have to offer. 

I have been the mayor for nearly 23 years so I might be a little
biased when I say, “ we have a great town”. Also feel free to
come to Primghar for a visit. I think then you’d agree with me
that Primghar really is a great community.

We may be small in numbers, however,  we are the county
seat of O’Brien County. We have many amenities including
our own hospital and  an excellent nine hole golf course. I’ll
be looking forward to hearing from you or to seeing you.
