The Primghar Ambulance Team is seeking volunteers to serve on OUR TEAM.  EMT Classes will start September 20,2010 at NCC in Sheldon.

Why YOU should consider being a volunteer to YOUR community: TO be part of a caring team, knowing that you may mean the difference in someone's life by provoding quick response to a medical emergency and by serving your community through your service.

• To take the EMT class you must be 17 years of age and be willing to commit a minimum of 2 years of service or pay the city back for the cost of class. Continuing ed requires a minimum of 24 hours every two years.

• We welcome volunteers to serve as drivers only. Drivers need to have valid drivers license and healthcare CPR.

• We like each team member to commit to around 10 shifts per month, including weekends.

Primghar Iowa Ambulance Rates & Fees:

               A.  $250 BLS Non-Emergency

               B.  $400 BLS Emergency

               C.  $350 ALS 1 Non-Emergency

               D.  $475 ALS 1 Emergency RN

               E.  $675 ALS 2 Emergency

               F.  $400 Specialty Care Transport

               G.  $10.50 For each mile a patient is transported in the ambulance as
                     determined by the odometer of the ambulance.
