SATURDAY, JULY 17
8:30 am – 4-H Non-livestock judging will take place @ Primghar Community Center
9:30 am - 4th Annual Antique/Classic Tractor Ride, registration at the Fairgrounds
10:00 am - Open class craft exhibits must be checked in
10:30 am - Open Class craft judging
12 -1:15 pm – Noon Break
2:00 pm – Deadline for bringing in Communication Posters
7:30 pm – Auto races sponsored by Primghar Jaycees
SUNDAY, JULY 18
12:30 pm–Horse Projects must be checked in.
1:00 pm – Horse Show
3:30 pm—Sheep must be in place
4:00- 6:00 pm –Sheep weigh-in
5:00– 6:00 pm—goat weigh-in
5:00–7:00 pm – Swine weigh-in
3:00-6:00 p.m.—Poultry check-in and testing
6:00—8:00 pm—Rabbit Check-in
MONDAY, JULY 19
7:30-8:30 am-Rabbit Check-in, must be in place by 8:30
8:00-9:00 am – 4-H Horticulture and Flower Arranging entries must be checked in.
8:00-11:00 am–Open Class Horticulture & Flower Arranging entries must be checked in
9:00 am – Begin Judging Educational Presentations/Share-The-Fun/Working Exhibits
9:00 am – Begin judging 4-H Horticulture and Flower Arranging
9:00 am – Rabbit Show
10:00 am –Swine, Poultry, Goat and Dairy must be in place.
10:00 am – 4-H Exhibit Building Open to public.
11:00 am – Judging of Open Class Horticulture and Flower Arranging
12:00 noon – Market Beef, Breeding Heifers, Cow-Calves and Feeder Calves & Bottle/Bucket calves must be in place.
12:30 pm – Broiler Contest Judging
1:00 pm – Live Poultry Judging
1:00 pm – Evaluate Advanced lamb pen projects
Sheep Show Immediately following Advanced Lamb Pen evaluation
4:00 pm—Style show practice—administration building
5:30 pm— ―Sheltered Reality‖ Drum line
7:30 pm—4-H Fashion Revue/Clothing Selection Style Show; O’Brien County Fair Queen & King Coronation & Share-The-Fun Acts
TUESDAY, JULY 20
8:00 am – Beef Show
10:00 am – 4-H Exhibit Building Opens
2:00 pm – Children’s Entertainment provided by O’Brien County Library Association — Administration Building
4:00 pm - Bottle/Bucket Calf Show
5:00-7:30 pm - Farm Credit Services Ice Cream Social
6:00 pm – Pedal Pull
7:30 pm – LIVE ENTERTAINMENT—Danika Portz
WEDNESDAY, JULY 21
8:00 am – Swine Show
9:00 am – Discovering 4-H Pet Judging followed by 4-H Pet Show
2:00 pm—Goat Show
3:00-3:30 pm – Livestock Judging Registration (or immediately following goat show)
3:30 pm (or immediately following goat show)– Livestock Judging Contest
4:00 pm - Dog Show
5:00–7:00 pm – O’Brien County Farm Bureau Watermelon Feed
5:00 pm—Ag Olympics
7:30 pm – Auto Races sponsored by Primghar Jaycees
7:30 pm – All 4-H Livestock may be released
THURSDAY, JULY 22
9:00 am – Awards/Announcements and Livestock Sale
9 -12:00 – 4-H Non-livestock exhibits may be released.
4-H’ers & parents are encouraged to help with cleanup.
9:00 pm - 12:00 am – Teen Dance
